Global Warming...;-)

Hey Connie, thanks for your review (and Clara's is not bad, either) on the soft soft yarn! I have not tried it yet, none of my LYSs carry PDE yarns.

Hi Connie! Hey, I remember that book! Maybe it's time to check it out again and read it to my kiddies. Ever read Phantom Tollboth? Another goodie.

I was just looking at your sample last week with Linda and we were saying what a nice job you did and how lovely the yarn was. You're right though, it has a delicate feel to it.

Hope you're doing well!
Jessica

I heard that the re-issued version of A Wrinkle in Time contains many updates to make it a story that takes place in the present day. For example, Mrs. Whatsit no longer refers to the evil entity as the "Dark Thing" but instead calls it "Global Warming." Also, I understand Meg has to use more than just love for Charles Wallace to combat IT, and instead is forced to build a Coalition of the Willing (which Calvin declines to join because he refuses to believe there are WMD's on Camazotz).

At least, that's what I heard.
