That is a beautiful cardi, and it reminds me on a beautiful and elegant friend of mine who I knew in Southern China.
It is like what someone would wear in Kowloon.

Kowloon is never cold enough for such a cardigan. "Qingdao" would be a better name.
Lovely cardigan otherwise.

The last time we went to Hong Kong was in February, during a cold snap. (I think it got down to 14C!) Everyone was going around in heavy coats and scarves and hats, while my partner and I, being from Canada, occasionally put a denim jacket on over our sweaters and remarked on how pleasant the weather was compared to our previous visit (in mid-August). His family thought we were nuts, and were all worried that we'd freeze to death! I wish I'd had something like this for that trip though, although I'm sure they would have been even more concerned for my health if I did.
It's stunning!

Your new design is lovely and elegant. This is sure to be a hit among the knitters on Ravelry. I'll watch for the traffic.
